Our Maranda/Sumter Project was completed in January 2018.  The land was acquired by affiliates of CKC Properties who requested that CKC Properties and CKC Construction joined their team to develop the lot for resale.  The land was divided into 2 separate lots upon purchase and through lot line adjustments, zoning variance approvals and the formation of an HPR on one of the lots, 4 single family homes were approved to be constructed.

CKC Properties LLC worked with AJ Architects to design an infill project that consisted of contemporary court with 3 identical houses on 3.5 Maranda Holmes and 1 different stand alone home at 430 Sumter Street.

The biggest challenge for this project was the logistical element of delivering and storing material on a site with such confined conditions.  After a lot of planning and site set up this was accomplished.

The houses consist of wood stick framing, architectural shingle/corrugated metal roofing, Ipe decking, cementitious lap siding and corrugated metal siding.   All the homes display large windows that provide an ample amount of light thought the living space.

The interior finishes all center around a white grey color scheme and include, Bleached White Oak flooring, Quartz Carrera countertops, Polished Carrera tile, Grey cabinets and doors in a shaker style, and stainless appliances and fixtures.
